About Hellebore

The Hellebore Giving Fund was co-founded by Sue Bannatyne and Betsy Kuo in 2025.  With a strong desire to give back and to help others succeed, Sue and Betsy actively support charities they are passionate about.

Through the Hellebore Giving Fund, they are committed to funding local charities that strengthen our community, with a special interest in supporting women and young people.

Sue and Betsy believe in providing support with no overhead costs, ensuring that every dollar goes towards helping charities with passion and innovative ideas achieve their goals. Their vision is to foster a thriving community where helping others succeed is the norm.

What's In a Name

Hellebores are tough, low-maintenance plants that provide colour and life when most other plants are dormant, offering high impact for low effort. They are often used as a ground cover to allow other trees and plants to shine. They can spread year after year, with new shoots known as 'volunteers'.

Hellebore Giving Fund acknowledges the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we stand and we pay our respect to them, their customs, their culture, to elders past and present, and to their emerging leaders.
